CacheVault is an independent edge caching company. We do one thing — deliver static assets — and try to do it well enough that you rarely have to think about us.
01Our story
Why we started.
CacheVault started from a simple observation: most websites don't need a platform to get their static files delivered quickly. They need a cache that respects their headers, a certificate that renews itself, and a way to purge when they deploy.
So that's what we built. We operate our own edge nodes, keep the feature set deliberately narrow, and make the behaviour easy to reason about. If your origin says a file can be cached for a day, it's cached for a day — no hidden heuristics, no surprises.
We're a small team and intend to stay focused. The people who answer your email are the people who run the network, which keeps us honest about what we promise.
02How we work
Four things we hold ourselves to.
Predictable
Standard HTTP caching semantics and clear defaults. You should always be able to tell why a response was, or wasn't, served from cache.
Narrow by design
We deliver static assets. We don't run your code or bundle a dozen products you didn't ask for.
Plain-spoken
No inflated numbers and no marketing uptime percentages. When something breaks, we say so — on the status page and by email.
Private by default
No ad tech and no selling data. Logs exist to operate the network and are kept only as long as that requires.
03Boundaries
What we won't do.
Some things are easiest to describe by what's missing.
- Inject scripts, banners or tracking into the content we deliver.
- Sell or share data about your visitors.
- Hold basic features back for enterprise contracts.
- Promise capacity or performance we can't back up.
